whiteness wasn't built in a day
Jesus depicted as a blonde, blue-eyed baby, or tall white man, reign throughout Italy and Europe, portraying historical inaccuracy through the propaganda of the Western form of Christianity. Referencing one of the most dominant forces in the ancient world, the Roman Empire, this work brings historic and contentious views of the prevailing power of the Eurocentric white world. The use of intestines and white paint through the work symbolises the carcass of humanity and the souls that have been conquered, with continual control leaching through to our post-colonial word.
